Well, my mom and dad have done the impossible--they've sold the house, for their ASKING PRICE! They've also agreed to sell all their furniture and the people are going to give them retail value for it. Wow. Good thing they didn't sell MY furniture, though. I'd be pretty sad to have to give away my crib and dressers. I like them a lot.
It's too bad, though, that the great painting on my closet door has to go bye-bye. I really liked that a lot too. I guess it's not as cool as the paintings my dad makes anyways, so it's no big deal.
I'm really glad they found someone to buy the house. That's a load of stress of all our shoulders. Plus, I won't have to worry about getting woken up by the neighbors yelling at each other all the time. And, hopefully in our next house (after we leave Mimi & Poppi's, that is) we'll be able to keep the windows open so we can enjoy the nice, fresh air and not have to worry about cigarette smoke blowing in the windows. Yuck. All in all, I'm really excited. No matter where we end up, it's sure to be better than our first place. Not that my mom & dad didn't make it really nice INSIDE. It was just WHERE it was that was no fun. Plus when we come back next year, hopefully we'll find a house closer to where they work, so they can come get me from daycare faster!
Aside from that, everything's going good. I have been spending a lot of time with Mimi (my grandma) because my mom found some freelance work. I've also been spending a lot of time with my grandma and grandpa von Wahlde. Mom & Dad brought my activity mat over there so I could play, and I like it a lot. I mean, who wants to sleep all day long anyway?
